I have the bulbar onset and noticed slurred speech in July 2011. As of Feb 1, 2012 I can not speak, produce saliva at alarming rate, and have almost lost use of hands and arms. No neck strength. Constant fascicilations, and upper body muscles atrophying daily. In short….Fading fast.

Hi King Rat,
On a similar note,, We are a military family & have lived in Tampa, FL for 4yrs & have NEVER gone to Miami or the Keys…I know crazy! Well we are moving to Guam now & want to take a road trip to see Miami/Keys, what MUST we stop & do or see on this road trip? Oh and we have a 5yr old.

Wow, that’s a lot of work to do a family tree like that and so amazing that you’ve tracked down more! I still remember when cousins contacted us from California saying they were coming to visit, they had tracked us down from a few generations back. It was so neat – and speaking of that I’m off to visit them again in a few weeks!

There’s a really good chance I’ll be going through Boise. I’ve done 4th of July Pass in winter before with not so great results (ask Rus about that trip), so I’m likely to be coming across from South Dakota through Idaho.
